ETS-RT 07 A tags are specially meant for apparel industry to identify and manage the garments / clothes at various levels of production and at the retail level. The tag includes RFID UHF inlay embedded between
2 thick layers of paper with a hole at top side to hang the tag on the clothes. The tag generally contains details related to the particular garment like its size, price, model, make, serial number, date of manufacturing, discounts offered, available inventory in store etc. Nylon/platic threads are used for attaching the tags to the clothes.
At retail / store level, RFID Handheld readers are used for taking daily inventory and for searching misplaced item which in turn saves a lot of time compared to manual processes. RFID fitted clothes provide automated billing and better security checks at retail level.
